  • Referral links: If you are a Pro member, the custom referral links you save for each country are stored in your browser's localStorage.
  • IP address and country: When you use our referral system, your IP address is queried via ipapi.co to determine your country for link redirection. We do not store IP addresses on our servers.
  • Chat conversations: Your conversations with AI advisors are stored locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
  • Usage analytics: Anonymous page view data may be collected to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: Email/username login to access your account.
  • Country detection: Determining your country to redirect you to the correct referral registration page.
  • Referral tracking: Recording clicks on your shared referral links (Pro members only).
  • Service delivery: Providing AI chat responses and article content.
  • Improvement: Analyzing aggregated usage patterns to improve our wellness content and AI responses.

3. Data Storage

Primary storage: LocalStorage (client-side). The vast majority of your data - including account info, chat history, read articles, and custom referral links - is stored in your browser's localStorage. This means:

  • Your data stays on your device.
  • We do not have access to your chat history or personal health information on our servers.
  • If you clear your browser data, all locally stored information will be deleted.

Server-side storage: Minimal. Only essential account credentials (hashed) and subscription status are stored to enable login across devices.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • PayPal: Payment processing. Your payment data is handled by PayPal's secure systems. We never see or store your credit card information.
  • ipapi.co: IP geolocation for country detection. Your IP address is sent to their API anonymously.
  • Google Fonts: Typography. Google may collect usage data per their privacy policy.
  • Pexels: Article images. No personal data is shared.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access: You can view all your data by checking your browser's localStorage (Developer Tools > Application > Local Storage).
  • Right to deletion: You can delete all your data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
  • Right to export: Your data is already on your device. You can export it by copying from localStorage.
  • Right to withdraw consent: You can stop using the service at any time. Your data remains on your device unless you delete it.

  • Data Control: You can clear all your community data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for nuanxinyu.com.
  • No Server Upload: NuanXinYu does not upload community-generated content to its servers. This data remains under your control.
  • Data Loss: Clearing your browser data, switching devices, or using private/incognito mode will result in loss of access to your community history.
  • Sharing: Since community data is stored locally, other community members cannot see your data unless you explicitly share it through posts.
